Laughing Under Mt. Cook

I studied abroad in New Zealand for a semester in spring 2019. Myself and 7 friends went on a 9 day camping trip during the end of NZ's fall season. This was one of our first stops, at Mt. Cook (the beautiful mountain you see in the background). This hike was tough, for me at least. The hike is a set of 2000 stairs, and then some scrambling to get to the hut up top, Mueller Hut. This photo was taken when we all gathered after the stairs portion. I miss their laughter.

A Difficult Chess Game in Harvard Square

I like to play chess. One evening, a friend and I visisted Harvard Square so that I could take photos for my class. This man challenged me to a match as I was taking photos of the chess players. I don't think he expected me to be any good, but I was the head of the chess club in high school. I won!

A Drunken Graduate

My brother graduated from the University of Virginia in 2018. There is a tradition that the graduates, or most of them, get completely drunk at 6:00am in time to walk at 10:00am. I can't remember what my brother was saying in this moment, but it sure seems intriguing.
